The Challenge
The yearbook staff at Mark Morris High School wanted their yearbook to make a bold visual statement using their theme, "Uproar." The design needed to set a tone of celebration and energy with music as a visual element. The design package request included a cover, front endsheet, title page, and division page design.
The Solution
To acheive the target look and feel, I chose to use vibrant colors and lines eminating from the musician. To enhance the contrast and impact I relied heavily on stark black and white shapes and white space. Though challenging to output due to gamut limitation, the final book was produced to have rich color throughout.
