The Challenge
Freemont Middle School's yearbook staff selected the theme "Show Your Wild Side" and wanted to design a cover that incorpated wildlife in a unique way. The cover needed to be visually captivating and create an energetic and exciting feeling.
The Solution
Instead of going with pictures of animals, I used images of the hair, skin, and fur patterns of a variety of animals to create a collage texture. To complete the design I gave the book title an agressive type treatment to make the reader feel as if they are embarking on a wild safari.
